A continuing thread in my work is the effort (informed by memory) to make sense of physical environment. Perception tends to be fragmented, the pull to define lets us find our place in space. It's the effort (as experience) I'm interested in.
The paintings and works on paper are untitled, or have titles that are deliberately non-specific. I don’t want to suggest a precise reading. Instead I strive for a sense of conflict between psychological and real space -- somewhat like peripheral vision.
